SpaceX recently resumed its launches after being grounded for over two weeks by the Federal Aviation Administration. The company's Falcon 9 rocket successfully lifted off from Kennedy Space Center, carrying 23 Starlink internet satellites. This marked SpaceX's 51st launch from the Space Coast this year and the 71st operational mission for the company overall.

The grounding was a result of a failure during a previous launch from California, which was caused by a liquid oxygen leak in the Falcon 9's upper stage. Following a comprehensive investigation, SpaceX identified the cause of the mishap and implemented corrective actions to ensure success in future missions. These measures included removing certain components from the Falcon 9 second stages and conducting thorough testing at their rocket development facility in Texas.

With the FAA accepting the investigation results, SpaceX has been cleared to proceed with all its planned missions, including human spaceflight. The company has a busy schedule ahead, with upcoming missions including a resupply mission to the International Space Station and potential human spaceflights from the Space Coast in August. Despite the setback, SpaceX's ability to swiftly address the issue and return to flight demonstrates the company's dedication to meticulous and thorough preparations for its launches.
