Manifesta 15, scheduled to take place from September 8 to November 27 in the metropolitan region of Barcelona, has unveiled its program and list of participating artists. The event will be spread across 16 venues in 12 cities and will explore the legacies of the region's built and natural environments, as well as their global connections and potential for improvement.

The 80-day program will consist of three clusters: 'Balancing Conflicts' (Llobregat Delta), 'Cure and Care' (Collserola Mountain Range and the Vallès area), and 'Imagining Futures' (Besòs River and the northeastern coastline). Additionally, a series of Focus Weeks will highlight events specific to each participating city.

A diverse lineup of artists and collectives from around the world will participate in Manifesta 15, including familiar names like Ana Mendieta, Judy Chicago, and Antoni Tàpies. The artists will present their works in public spaces across the region, addressing themes such as environmental balance, healthcare, and visions for the future.
