Gabi Ngcobo 将成为 Kunstinstituut Melly 的新任主管

Gabi Ngcobo has been appointed as the new director of Rotterdam's Kunstinstituut Melly. She will succeed Sofía Hernández Chong Cuy, who has been in the role since 2018. Ngcobo is known for her independent curatorial practice and is currently the curatorial director of the Javett Art Centre at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. She curated the tenth edition of the Berlin Biennale in 2018 and co-curated the 32nd São Paulo Biennial in 2016. Ngcobo's recent projects include The Show is Over (2022) at the South London Gallery and The 't' is Silent (2021) at Deurle's Museum Dhondt-Dhaenes. She will begin her new role in January 2024.
